| DVOA - Stuckey Pond at the Water Gap - 70, sunny. Nice course, reasonable O. Took a while to get into it, like out of start went about 45 deg off to wrong side of pond, not reading contours/map at all. Duh! wakeup call, and settled in. Rest went fine tho hesitant approaching circle to 5 and mushed a bit leaving 1. Slow and bothered a bit by veg as haven't trained as much this season in terrain with the dirth of A meets - specificity! it's important. |

| Purple loop - 62, sunny - finally. After warmup, did some random pushes: up hill to gate, on purple trail, hill by pond, down long road, hill after brdige, horse trail hills. Jogged in between. Stopped for pulse a couple times and was about 180. The push was good as otherwise might have been a slog so this got me going a bit. |

| Short loop - 50, grey, windy, damp cold. A real slog and hard to get going. Chest sore for first mile or so from jiggling(?) then slightly better. But could never seem to get any energy focussed and just took it as an easy run in the woods. |

| Great Mt, NE section - 50, grey then rain, cold. Now sitting here warm with a nice hot cuppa! Checking more control sites for August Rogaine in Land Trust open space area, very nice, and girl scout land, awful. Have to check out Land Trust more as area looks great. Another nice day. |
