Stretching 15:00 [0]
Morning after run
Road run 35:00 [1]
shoes: Attack II
Granite Park - 75, clear again. Clouds aren't allowed here it seems.

To park and then got lost on some other roads trying to get back to Bob's. Went back way we came.

Thursday Aug 21

Trail run 1:00:00 [2] *
shoes: Attack II
Granite Park - North Rim Trail - 70, clear

Roads up to park, then exploring trails. Main trail covered with wood chips which makes for reasonable footing, side trails deep loose sand - like running on the beach. Guess that's why this place is called Sandy. Off trail thick prickery grass and low shrubery. Explored a bit then stayed on Rim trail, out and back. Back turned out to be long uphill. Nice run in early morning - then it got hot.
Stretching 20:00 [0]
Evening stretch.

Tuesday Aug 19

Stretching 20:00 [0]
weight:143lbs
Morning stretch. Little tight from long run yesterday, but overall things are loosening up and the butt ache gone.
Strength (nycb 2) 55:00 [1]
Normal routine, bit better than last week.

Head to SLC tomorrow;-}

Morning Stretch
Hiking (Mowing) 5:00 [1]
shoes: Montrail
MwM - 80, mostly doodling along behind the self-propelled thingy but this represents the humping the thing along the top of the bank to get the overgrown bits coming up through the juniper, without getting the juniper (much), in the blazing full sun.
Trail run hills 1:10:00 *** 8.1 km (8:39 / km) +185m 7:45 / km
weight:143lbs shoes: Montrail
Coups Sawmill Trail loop - 80, clear, dry, nice day for a therapy run.

Started at the road trail head and ran a ccw loop over to Coups Sawmill Rd, down to the balance beam bridge and back via almost to the power line trail. Nice run to start as mostly downhill, which of course caught up to us after we crossed the bridge and started climbing, then more oop and then we got to climb again. May have to find a better parking, rather than the top of the mountain.

Trails certainly have been worked over by the mt bikers. No longer single track in most parts.

Nice run.
