I really enjoyed the course..
apart from the F***ing flys, grrrrr they constantly just hang around your head, it's so off putting.

Thanx to glen and peter for taking me in there too :)

the bush was ok for running, bit thick at times but livable
again pleased with my run
but i thought i could have gone a bit faster if it wasn't for the flys distracting me :P

usual morning run around wangi.

stretching warm up/down 5:00 [3]

running 39:00 [4] 4.4 km (8:52 / km)

ran from the oval up to the main road and along some bush tracks, including some huge-ass hill :S then ran back down to the oval.
(afternoon)

Walking warm up/down 15:00 [2]

After a small stretch with Glen i walk/jogged back home again as a warm down.

After that soccer game i was completely stuffed....
and still am. Rest day today i think was much needed :)
looking forward to doing some awesome runs this week though :D it's been nothing but soccer whole of last week.

30 degrees, huge winds, crap field....
BUT WE STILL WON :D:D:D FIRST GRAND FINAL WIN!!!!
so awesome :)

same score as last game... went to extra time, then penalty shoot-out, they kinda sucked at that and our goalie saved three out of four of their shots.
I got my shot in, which was a huge relief. So much pressure
i hate it.
fun though :)

got really pissed off with my HW so i decided to go for a run to cool off. I was glad i did cause i was seriously ready to break my computer.
it was dark when i left and ther arnt alot of street lights in wangi :( but it was amazing to see the lake in the dark
it looked so cool.
it was a good run, except my calf muscles were really hurting towards the end.

I really enjoyed the fast course today, Thanx Russell for that. I didnt make too many mistakes today which was good. I found a few lantana thickets which were really hard to run through but the rest of the course was good running. My concentration was good today which made it better. I think it had something to do with the good song stuck in my head. very happy with my run :)

Did the short orange with nicola for an extra run. It was kinda a warm down cause we didnt run much :P but it was good. we did map memory and found the controls no probs.
Dont know the time, just estimated.

soccer (Game) 1:30:00 [5]

We won the finals!!! :D It was a great game. we played for 70 mins and the score was still 2-2 so it went into extra time. 10 min each side.
In the last seconds of the game i got around the goalie but missed. I was so angry :( it would have been the best goal.
We had to go through the penalty shoot out, which is really bad. but we managed to win it. so were in the grand final!!
but now i have to make a really hard decision: Grand final or orienteering??

I know iv already said im going to the training camp but everyone on my soccer team wants me to play. Again im stuck between soccer and orienteering, grrrrrrrr.

Great training for the major semis, our coach worked us hard. we did alot of sprints and runs, which was good. and we practiced crosses and free kicks and all that technical stuff. It was good.

Really short run today; I wanted to go for longer but my chest cold thing was making it hard to breath still so i made it shorter. I was glad i went out though it was a good run. some of it was along the shore of the lake. very nice running conditions. I enjoyed it :)

long stretch before the run. It made a heap of difference i think.

Just decided not to run today and give my sickness a chance to fully pass over before i get back into it again, so i took the dog for a walk instead. It was an enjoyable walk along the waterfront :)
