ankle was fine no effect

had really good run except no. 4 & 5 where i had 2 huge mistakes.these cost me around 20mins. i just found the navigation really tricky in the green areas and wasnt used to the terrain.

i also had a mistake on no.1 that cost me about 1min and a slight miss on no.7 approx. 20secs

running quite well though. happy enough as it was my first real course in a scandanavian or nordic region. and i could see what i had to work on for jukola on sat/sun

went for piss in woods and went over my ankle really badly.
pain was really bad but i couldnt stop laughing at myself.

i heard a huge crack?! not good... but i was able to walk and 5 mins later jog too.

What a start to my Finnish O' Tour!!!

5km course near forssa in Finland for training for middle tomorrow

ankle not that bad. jogged and walked most of the course and ran a small bit towards end to test the ankle.

Map was a disgrace. there were green spots everywhere not on the map.

did mass start with conor and kev for the laugh. we were just behind him untill conor took bad route choice to 5 and we lost him. kev was about 20m ahead of me and i didn'y find 9 co it was hidden.. AGHH!!!! then same on 10 too well hidden for mran pretty well then but didnt see either of them again

couple of small mistakes later on too.

tempo run on 3roc, was gonna go to djouce but didn't hav the time...
felt pretty ok, was a little tired but not too bad. i found it quite hard to open up my stride again after uphills for some reason!?
but it worked out well and i felt quite good

cycle out to irishtown, to run with rathfarnham, but there was no-one there so i had to turn around and come back.
