happy with time.. had one huge hill at the end of each lap probably similar size to the 1st one on the time trial loop only you go straight up rather than across it- if on track would be at least 30secs faster

anyway started real fast with Bill and Jack going even faster!? i knew i wouldn't keep up so let them off. we did 2- 1.5km laps
1) 5.38
2) 6.05
Jack was 10.17 and Bill 10.30..

might have done better if i had been in bed earlier.. a lot earlier :P and if there wasn't a big mongo hill at the end of each lap

i started off testing new road bike was all good.. went into a lower gear to go up this hill only to realise when i got up top i couldn't change my gears back up?! so was doing an awful lot of pedalling and not a lot of cycling

had to turn back :(

not sure if this training? meh..
i wore garmin and did approx. 50mins + 3km i was keeper for first 2 of 5 games though so really 30mins 3km

anyway it was big tournament in school we were in the 4th-6th year category. We won our group not conceding 2-0, 2-0, 1-0 and drew semi
0-0 (3-1 pens. i scored 1st goal but was 3rd penalty taker) and then lost
2-1 in final but i ran passed 3 players and ball was just to far ahead so keeper got it- that would have been are 2nd goal but the others deserved to win. The winners got tub of haribo each :(

played well though happy and was pretty intensive

lots of different things- quite tough
working all the muscles

Running 2:00 [1] 0.3 km (6:40 / km)

before intervals

Running intervals 18:07 [5] 4.04 km (4:29 / km) +200m 3:36 / km
ahr:165 max:176 shoes: Asics Running shoes

3x6min intervals with 1min break
shortish loop around 380m which we got around 3 1/2 loops done per interval which had a whopper hill at end of each loop so about 4 those per interval
1) 1.31km laps- 1.40 1.40 1.42 0.58(1/2 loop)
2) 1.34km laps- 1.36 1.40 1.41 1.05(1/2 loop)
3) 1.39km laps- 1.35 1.41 1.39 1.09(1/2 loop)
1/2 loops are varied because some were longer just to fill up the 6mins
generally was a little behind the 1st group but was pretty consistent and they kept getting slightly faster. good bit ahead of 2nd group though so happy.
Bill and Jack kept up with 1st group + Michael lead the 1st group!

felt really good on hill which is good- rest of it we were supposed to go pretty hard but pushed more on the hill so it would be my hill intervals for the week

real easy- bit slower than usual didn't bother me though. in between int. 1 + 2 so just said 2. Not tired at all.. was feeling real fresh when we finished- good sign i guess
Shane + Kevin were only others there + Dave did part of it with us as he was only doing 75mins. i think they thought i wasn't able to go faster when really i just didn't want to and was happy with slow pace

recovery run with Jack.. race was fast so guess recovery neccesary rather than the 1km intervals that i will usually do from now on. across road from nutgrove now not bushy. slow pace jus chattin for ages
real easy pace very comfortable
