Bit of a make shift session once I finally got out.
Did 4 x { ~75sec uphill [~75sec], ~60sec downhill [~75sec] }.
Up and down the same slope. A decent gradient for hill sprints. The idea was hopefully the uphills would be a good strong effort, and the downhills would be a bit like over speed training.
Anyway, who knows, glad to have done it.

Lovely little classic from strandhill with Brad.
Got walked all over on the intermediate sprints, however looked certain I would finally get in green until I kinda twisted my ankle coming down the last sand dune (not badly).
Hard work with not a lot to show for it.
Ran smoothly enough and annoyingly well paced, but Ali had other things in mind and out solo from the off this was not fast. Went through 3k much quicker in that 5k few weeks ago.
Still, if you don’t run a fast time, you can still take the W. And that I did at least.
