“Study” day, so got out for some hills in the daylight.
Took a sit down at fairy castle to enjoy the view, only to be washed over by a wave of jealousy for those who can do this every day.
It was lovely and sunny today, no need for tights or a jacket, and nothing put a few little patches of snow to interrupt the trails. Spring is coming.

Long snowy one with Jonny.
From brockagh car park up Scarr, and then up Tonlagee, and then up Camaderry and back down to the car. However there was rather a lot of snow, and this route was very ambitious.
It was tough going up Scarr but not too bad and mostly just a very enjoyable level of snow. But then off Scarr it was very high and a reasonable chunk of the descent was forced to a walk and fall type thing.
Made a fairly early call to head over towards Brockagh instead, and after some forest battling we hit some deer trail / covered fire road which brought us home.
Most enjoyable and a nice little adventure with the snow.

Good efforts, a bit icy and sharp corners so not the fastest. Course was a bit short for the parkrun so had to carry through.

Thought I’d seen it all, but there was a group of walkers with hiking poles in bushy park and that takes it so far I reckon.
