End of the easy week. Always nice to have the easy week, didn’t feel as easy as usual because of the post-football tightness, but mostly fine once running.

Barrow Wake orienteering by NGOC.

Lovely to be back on a map. Hilly terrain made for tough work out there, and my legs were finding it tough with plenty of stiffness from yesterday's 5 aside. Nice forest sections and one some patches of lovely contour detail in the 2nd half, but on the whole not the most difficult.
Worked pretty hard and navigated reasonably well for the most part. Had one silly slip up on #7 of ~30sec when planning ahead and just overrunning on the path a bit, and another 30-45sec on #8 by climbing a little unnecessarily on the track before the control, and the terrain in the circle was a bit odd.

Nice golf loop with J&L. Legs feeling a bit shafted from 5 aside earlier this morning, so pretty tired, but all well, and enjoying the nice weather.
Also smacked my shin yesterday trying to steeple a fence that was a tad too high, could feel it a bit on this, but not too bad.

But again I was a bit tight on time and my stomach was rolling having had lunch shortly before so I just called it after one set and jogged a little. Thankful it's easy week.
Had hoped to get back to a group session at the track last night, but my meeting clashed so had to skip unfortunately. Soon though.
