Bodpod body fat: No change at 18%
Caliper body fat: 4% drop to 13%
Weight: No change
VO2 Max: 2 minute backwards, although the 1 minute HR recovery was the same.
Bench: 20 reps before, 32 after
Leg press: 10 reps before, 23 after
Surprising? Not to me. Aerobically I was two weeks off of a 3:22 marathon, now I am coming off a poor ski season and lackadaisical soccer season. I didn't focus on weight loss, and the weight training was new to me after 5+ years off.
I had fun and it kept me going. Net benefit is positive. :-)
