Parked at Terry Hills, down to Church Point then Westhead. Found a nice rhythm up a few of the longer hills but struggled (as usual) on the short/sharp rises. Aja and Jeff rolled nice rides too. Aja, a little unfit from our time away is getting back into the swing nicely. Jeff, well, he's always in the swing.

Distance estimated. Long run with Aja and Jeff down the Great North Walk. By the end the legs were a little heavy but it was great to get out and test the fitness. Now I know where I'm at.

Typical morning ride with Jeff. Felt good until we hit a hill or a gust of wind. What's new? The running yesterday left me tired. Rest tomorrow. Can't wait!

Work > Home. Uneventful. Just what I'm looking for in a commute.

1/2 way around the bay (nice side) then back to run Chinny for 15 minutes. The heart/lungs are feeling good, the legs are still a little low on power. Working on that.

Commute to work, on foot, medium pack. Started with a mild feeling of despair as my legs felt kinda heavy from the effort earlier. I wasn't sure I could make it without a fake stretch or some shit. Turns out, found a rhythm and although I didn't find it easy, cruised up to the office in fine form. Now for the run home...

Pulled up really well on this one. Thought it might be a struggle o get into the flow after a day's work but I trotted on home without much of an issue. Legs feel a little sore/heavy so will rub them out a little later.

Rolled solo to Centennial and did five laps and five hills. I felt good but the wind took me down a gear or two. Ended up at the office, refuelled and looking forward to tomorrow's morning run.

Popped this one in as a 3 just because of the wind, rain and crazy drivers. Despite the sky falling in (a mega storm) I couldn't get the smile off my face. The thing about rain is that a) you can only get so wet b) it's well worth it when you jump into a warm shower.

Took it easy this morning. Ran to Balmain, coffee then home. Felt fine after yesterday's effort but thought a light session would be a good idea. Hope it will set me up for the rest of the week. Needing to eat more protein.
