my local loop run/jog with Wyatt.
I am trying to define my runs as run/jog as I don't run all my training runs;) I read the description of running not jogging in running magazine and based on it I am not running on my training runs...
Should I call myself a jogger?

Orienteering race (WRE 1st day US champs) 1:49:52 [4] 9.2 km (11:57 / km)
WRE event and 1st day of US Champs.
Many F-21 made many mistakes, including myself...
Green was overwhelmed on the map ? hard to run and even harder to navigate. I couldn?t see well due to the sun in my eyes - missed few controls by a hair, but took a long time to relocate?
Erin Nelson had a great run ? she passed me on the course - I felt to try to stay on my own, not to follow her, not to follow Katharine Smith (she passed me at the end) _ I took different route choice and lost 6 minutes in the last 3 controls..
I am not sure why I was so bad at orienteering today .. I try to much harder at local events them at the US Champs. US Woman ? 1. Erin, 2.pavlina.3 and 4 Hilary and Sam. 5 ksenia. 6 Me.

Day 1 Red Y - Splits

Friday Nov 2

Event: US Champs

Orienteering (US Champs Sprints) 20:05 [4] 2.7 km (7:26 / km)
I was so scared to run this race... i wanted to do it well just this one race? tomorrow didn?t matter as I am missing Sunday?
When I started my legs were shaking and I couldn?t control them. It was the strangest feeling ? I couldn?t move my body ? I felt if I start running faster I will pass out ? and I wasn?t running fast, not a sprint pace. I guess moving in slow motion helped me not to make mistakes. I only lost 1min 15 sec on all 16 controls ? end up placing 3rd American after Hillary and Samantha.
