| Maze-O in the canyons - I ran with Dasha most of the course - it was better for both of us to stay together - fun place to do orienteering...i would say a little crazy. later we took kids to find 2 controls and they liked it lot - climbing up an down canyons...

| Really fun race in Anza Borego State Park. Very different kind of orienteering in the desert. I underestimated complication of the terrain-That is why took me almost an hour to find my 2 controls. Finally I got used to the map... things went better until again control 11 where I lost 20 minutes - it is easy to loose a lot of time if you end up in the wrong canyon - 300 miters can take 20 minutes to travel. |
