Mountain Biking.Trail race 2:15:00 [3]

First 25k of the Ultimate XC, Day Three. Small chain ring was coming off and I had forgotten tools. Didn't want to ride further into no-mans land just to have it break for good, so called it quits.

Trail Running race 8:51:00 [4] 34.0 mi (15:37 / mi)

Day 2 of the Ultimate XC. Rocked the run course, especially the downhills. When i realized I could be the top female in the Challenger race, I gave it all I could. Really happy with my performance and crossed the finish line with the needle on E. First female challenger (just 1 minute ahead of the next gal) and 4th overall female for all runners (one day and challengers)

Kayak 8:32:00 [3]

Day 1 of the Ultimate XC. Lake paddle to a river with class I and class I, but mostly bottom dragging depths. Several portages and even a 304 mile run in the middle while the race org transported your boat the the next lake. Two more small lakes before dropping into the lake to Mont-Tremblant. Happy with my performance given I had not paddled at all to train for this (only in races) and didn't have a great boat (17' long with a broken skeg). Flipped once when I got pinned against a couple rocks. No danger, just wet a a time loss. Ended the race with more freckles than i started with.

Road Cycling 1:40:00 [3] 31.64 mi (3:10 / mi)

Fairly flat ride for this area. Speed is picking up a bit, Rode with The Kid. his pace has picked up, too. http://www.mapmyrun.com/route/us/nh/peterborough/8...

Trail Running 1:42:00 [3] 10.0 mi (10:12 / mi)

Just a guess on the mileage... Ran the Wapack north from the Sharon trailhead to Temple Mntn then down to Casalis to the Mountain Road and back home. Boca was my run partner and a little trooper. First 5 miles were very techincal and it was slick which slowed me down, but I felt pretty comfortable on the run.

Road Cycling 1:20:00 [3] 13.0 mi (6:09 / mi)

Didn't look at the time.

Brickish workout. Bike, swim, bike

Lots of climb on the short ride (7.2 mile) there, http://www.mapmyrun.com/run/united-states/nh/-pete...

Swam for 20 minutes in Cunnigham Pond. First open water swim and only the second time in the water this year. felt OK though...

Rode back a different route that is both shorter and requires only about 3 pedal strokes

Road Cycling 1:52:00 [3] 32.66 mi (3:26 / mi)

Rode with DG. Kind of a recovery ride. Well, maybe it was kind of a junk mile ride, I dunno. Somewhat hilly and got rained on a bit. Here is the loop,

Road Cycling 3:49:00 [3] 65.35 mi (3:30 / mi)

Did a nice ride with SC, DC, and The Kid. I know they were feeling like we were going too slow in the beginning (because they admitted it later), but I was Queen of the Mountain when we got to 41 Temple Rd. Fixed their wagon. ;-) Felt very compfrtable all day in the saddle. No real muscle strain and besides being hungry today, that is it. That is exactly what I was hoping for. Sad to admit this is my longest ride this year on the road bike. Here is the loop, http://www.mapmyrun.com/route/us/nh/sharon/9601276...

Trail Running 1:10:00 [3] 7.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Did a nice trail run near Goffstown with JA, plus the pups, Kona and Boca. The deer flies were epic. Seriously. I spent the whole run looking at Jeff's back covered with about 50 of them. I started at one point to tell him so he could shake his shirt out and then realized I would rather they be there than coming for me, so I kept my mouth shut. Was that wrong?

Road Cycling 1:10 [3] 21.0 mi (3 / mi)

Not exactly sure of the time, but we were moving pretty good at times. Lunch ride with a bunch of the guys here, including The Prez. He's back on the bike now for the first time in 6 years and doing wicked awesome. I've got him on the hills, but I can't touch him on the flats.

Trail Running 1:55:00 [2] 10.0 mi (11:30 / mi)

Estimate on time and distance. Did my first workout since the ET. Just went out for a long slow run with Boca. his longest run yet and he did great. Cool and rainy night with fresh moose tracks on the trail, but no sightings.
