gym class (Body Step) 50:00 [4]

Quite a hard class and sweaty too. It's going to be just wonderful at Brickworks later.
12 PM

walking 50:00 [3]

Placing and collecting controls. Sadly no playmates today - too naughty to be allowed to come to the playground.:-((
5 PM

warm up/down 58:14 [2] 3.2 km (18:12 / km)
shoes: adidas

Seems pretty weird this warm up stuff.
6 PM

Park Series (Park tour - 2) 30:09 [4] 3.1 km (9:44 / km)

OK so warming up tires me out a bit but does the right thing for my HR. I
really enjoyed this event from Viola. She twisted and turned us good and proper. Lovely to see so many people back - perhaps the venue had something to do with it.Tricky gardens area and a few longish legs - and loved going across the boardwalk. I don't remember that from previously. Stupidly overran #3 but made up for it in other places by few better route choices, though route between 11 and 12 was good, then bad then good. Bit difficult with reading the map with fading light (impending storm), and in treed areas but trusted instinct. Looking forward to next week's mossie event - today's will take a lot of beating.

gym class (Shape and Tone) 50:00 [3]

Tried to start hard but not really successfully. Class is still too short - actually looking forward to change of season timetable availability.
4 PM

gym class (Fat Bruner) 1:00:00 [3]

A quasi circuit session - initially 5-8 minutes but instructor kept forgetting so ended up being 10-12 minutes so fewer rotations - a pity as could have gone harder. Nice to have a change though. Pretty sweaty - not looking forward to tomorrow midday - pretty hot.

walking 20:00 [2]

Putting out controls for Girl Guide night at Brickworks Park. A lot faster than it could have been - arrived about 15 minutes later than we should have to be greeted by a happy group of kids, but the real reason was the plague of mossies - plus I was less than intelligent on my control allocation and ended up doing a bit of a Star Relay on my own! rockman did the bulk - thank you.

Smorgasbord 50:00 [3]

35 min - cycle and 3 rating
15 min - strength/weights at 2.5 rating
Gym date with junior - good to catch up. It seems like we've now fixed on permanent weekly timing.

Note

Liv said we'd be sore - and I am - a rare occurrence on a promise so I must have been working hard yesterday.

Note

Goodbye summer. Sorry to see you go. You've been very kind - except for every Wednesday in February between the hours of 11am and 2 pm when you were *%#!@%^.
9 AM

gym class (Body Sculpt) 1:00:00 [4]

With the heavy rain outdoor activity was never going to be an option, so Liv made up for that. Also this was the week for the 100 pyramid. Wasn't looking for a partner but one found me. Partners is not my favourite situation but this is the first time I've actually enjoyed it. Janine was better at some activities and worse on others. But both of us put in 100% and were well matched in the end. This was 20 mins of starting with 100 triceps dips then team 100 of burpees, lunges, pushups, shoulder presses, butterfly sit ups, biceps curls in alternating lots of 10.
I feel good now - I think a lot of my recent problems have stemmed from lack of sleep. So will determinedly get back on track - it's often a fine line between enough and hours of awake time between 2am and 4am.
