Park Run (Final - TAFE -Tighes Hill) 22:57 [5] 2.6 km (8:50 / km)
shoes: adidas

Lovely new map - very tidy area. No problems-just a tiny stammer 15-16. Just got presentations done and controls in when storm came. Stayed around to do club and ONSW stuff so got the full blast of lightning (not really but pretty close). rockman also went out - easier on the body this time but he also feels stronger. Thanks Shane for course and ID for another great map - even if there is a technical problem! Possibly came in 5th - ranked 8th so happy with that.

Park Run (Newy) 34:18 [5] 5.03 km (6:49 / km)
shoes: adidas

Felt positive last night and the cool morning added to that - but the waking up at 5:15 didn't. Only had half breakfast and that helped too. Picked up rockman's cousin en route and chatted beforehand explaining the set up.

Eliz - 7:16 - great time but still felt terrible for the first 250m.
Cone - 17:08 - WOW that's about 20sec ahead of past few weeks. Don't slacken off now and lose all this hard work.
Eliz -26:50 - yes keep going.
Finish - 34:18 - huge run PB - not sure about race PB but pleased to make some progress at last. Happy with that - didn't feel like I had a finish shute sprint but pleased nonetheless. Edit: yay race PB.

Excitement for the day, which I missed. A resident of a house which is at the start of the Parkrun decided to attempt to cut the security chains of 2 bikes and acquire the bikes. Only trouble was he was spotted by a lady constable (who is a runner too), who rang for 'backup'. Offender didn't abscond, just retreated into his house. If I pull my hoodie over my face you can't see me!!! Police arrived and made an arrest.
Not the brightest, obviously!

Park Series (KE Park) 27:47 [5] *** 2.2 km (12:38 / km)
spiked:12/14c shoes: adidas

Didn't display much organisation today -planned on wearing HR - took it but forgot to put it on; wore watch, zeroed but didn't start it; went to #2 to find #1 - no that wasn't the plan! Then OK - long leg 3-4 I went 3-3.9 then turned back thinking white fence was too close, though I felt comfortable in passing #13 but i still climbed up taking lots of time to see that t was my #13. Total time loss est = 3:15. Enjoyed course a lot - thanks Alex. Weather threatened but I think we escaped! Finals on Sunday.

Bike 7:00 [2]

Pre class warm up - lost 3 minutes somewhere apparently

gym class (Body Pump) 1:05:00 [3]

Chest and back almost ready to up weight I think - so some progress now back to routine
5 PM

gym replacement activity 1:30:00 [4]

some diggin - locating the whereabouts of the underground power cables prior to some more diggin for handrails = probably. Plus a lot of pullin - I thought I was crying for a while as the sweat was running into my eyes before dripping onto the ground. Could have been crying as I was pullin out all the baby ferns and well tended understory! I don't work well in confined spaces ie under shrubs.

"Tight calves, tight ITBs, tight back - but not too bad for you." That stress will get you every time!
