Did all of the available hills - twice.

Lovely temp and great atmosphere. This is the nicest parkrun in the area. The hills are brutal but the surrounds are lovely and the people are very welcoming. The little touches are outstanding. OK so today was Christmas Eve so the chalk writings were of the order of Ho Ho Ho and Merry Christmas but the Christmas decorations strung between trees was speccy - big stars and streamers plus little clumps of decorations at the km markings.
Initially I was surprised to see so many dogs as I thought it was one of the dog free runs - and so it was! They all stayed at the Start - yay. Found I could pace myself a bit better today and used the downhill sections fairly well - and bludged on the uphills mostly. Still a nice run and my next choice after Callaghan.
Time wasn't too bad - and had I known that I might have pushed a bit harder.
Nice chat before with Killensx3 and afterwards with Jan - Robyn's sister and Judy J and some of event crew. I made sure to tell them what a nice parkrun they have!

Lots of hills. Not one of my favourite maps, but not because oft he hills. Just a rubbish street layout and a big tract of land through the middle which really does cut the map in half - much to the displeasure of some runners - the reasonably good but not top of the pile people are most at disadvantage - so I was fine.
Stayed in the northern half and cleaned it up bar 3B. Lovely weather conditions, though thought it would have been more uncomfortable than it was. rockman came to socialise and tidy up a few 5 Day matters - and get some puzzling news.

S-2B-1D-2A-3J-2G-1H 1J-1K - OK may add in 3C - 3D -1N-3A-1A- OK add in 2D -F.
Happy with distance and reasonably happy with route - tried to minimise climb - I am so good at running downhill. did run uphill all the way to 2D which was quite steep.
Nice chat afterwards - said farewell to messEng. Home for hamburgers and bed. Only felt awake when i was running. Managed to get a bit of organising done for Sunday - but not enough. Tomorrow is going to be busy.

Under medical advice I proceeded to go to class but be alert. Ended up with balloon weights - while they don't exactly float to the ceiling they are light. But still wanting to keep range of movement in my shoulder. Nothing untoward so all good. Left early ie before Abs track and Stretch for shower.
I do so admire the lady beside me - it was her 2nd class; she's older than me (well looks it) but she is deaf. How good is that to "follow instructions" in a gym class. Awesome!

Absolutely hard going but very necessary and much appreciated. don't know how I'll pull up tomorrow but back and particularly shoulder is much freer now.

Hummed and haaed but decided to give the class a go and pull out if shoulder was a problem. It wasn't but I didn't push to the full extent either. Worked pretty hard though.

Thought it would stay overcast while I finished off - no it didn't so was pretty uncomfortable by the end.
