Note

School reunion over - very happy with day and very appreciative exstudents. 226 - a recent record! Didn't wear flatties for the set up as I usually do so just made it (probably on adrenalin) to the end in high heels.

Friday Sep 15 #

9 AM

gym class (Body Sculpt) 55:00 [3]
shoes: bright pink

Warm yup foollwed by stepped activities which unfortunately constituted the whole class time.
Stage 1 light
Stage 2 medium
stage 3 heavy
Stage 4 Step
8reps, 7 reps, 6 reps....
Squats, push press, clean and press, bicep curls
1 min bike full pelt, 10 burpees, 20 squat jumps
I can see th structure but the boredom was paramount. I decided to change the overheads in Stage 3 with rows and dead lifts - I'd had enough of overheads by then.
Got my form checked and all good - so that's fine.

Note

Odd sight of the day:
While I was doing my cycle ints a very large young man fully equipped with facial piercings, arm tattoos and headphones sat on the bike next to me. After about a minute he launched into playing air drums, quite actively, while he was cycling. He didn't fall off his bike (I might have suffered some personal damage had this occurred) but it was surprising.
10 AM

Bike 10:00 [1]

Warm up

cycle ints 10:00 [4]

Mostly 20 sec on 10 off with last minute full on.

warm up/down 6:00 [1]

11 AM

running 27:18 [4] 5.0 km (5:28 / km)

No it's not a miracle - assisted running - but it felt good. More concerned about getting time under belt.

Tuesday Sep 12 #

9 AM

gym class (Body Pump) 55:00 [3]

Distracted - variously be people being all over the shop - Naomi on the East side, Kaye on the South side, Sarah not there at all then Sandra comes in fresh from her motor bike ride around Turkmenistan - amazing pics.
At 10:15 I had a sneaking suspicion I hadn't put the outflow from washing machine into the right spot and would be greeted by a flood or rockman with 10 wet towels. Fortunately i hadn't put the outflow anywhere, or turned on the machine so all good.
Now just to deal with a woman who left school in 1937 who's fit and well enough to come to the school reunion this weekend. Take that!
