Street Series (Tighes Hill - #5) 43:05 [4] 5.1 km (8:27 / km)
shoes: grey/white

Even though it is Tighes Hill it's still pretty flat. Great course set by Clare, with lots of points to get. Moose and steveo cleared the course, macey missing the action.
I was actually quite surprised at how many points i got - well over my hoped for 50% of winners. Seems like a reasonable route and didn't drop anything nor add nor did I have time to include in near the end. Not late so all round good afternoon.
Was to run early so helped set up, hoping the 2 shelters we erected weren't to be needed - they weren't. Then got 2 new families so did the intro then went out. I have to admit the new First Timer cards are easy to digest - they don't give much useful info but it's what we are to do.
Then got out. AGAIN I ignored the select little section to the NW as I never can remember how to get there despite the obvious (according to burgo) track symbol leading from the highway. But had i gone there it would have limited the points on the other side of the creek. Happy with what I did and again was queen of the downhill.
Then to marking duties - noting some less that gracious people and some who are very understanding. But now we realise that people don't actually go to clues and only report what they can see from a distance so when they get it wrong eg can't count to 4 or don't look at the house number and give answer for house 5a instead of 5.
But had the first experience ever of almost getting an answer wrong by a visual anomaly - red on black or black on red. Very disturbing!
Nice afternoon anyway.

gym class (Body Pump) 1:00:00 [4]

Meeting this morning so went to afternoon Pump class. Very impressive instructor. I pushed the biceps track with weight. Good to have a different instructor and different ideas and different music.

gym class (Cross Trainer) 1:00:00 [5]

Tough tough class. Beat time for cardio challenge 2nd time around but not 3rd. Did squats instead of squat jumps.
11 AM

gym replacement activity (digging) 15:00 [3]

Tilling the land is hard work for the arms. Soil variously sandy and clayey and hidden rocks pulled me up short. New plantings in - now to keep the grass at bay.

warm up/down 15:00 [1]
shoes: grey/white

Very patchy and nothing much uphill.
8 AM

Park Run (Blackbutt) 39:31 [4] 5.0 km (7:54 / km)
shoes: grey/white

Accidentally forget to take watch so was running naked, not such a bad thing. Beaut weather - a little drizzle and cool. Not enough of a warm up and not sure of time so couldn't do a lot without keeping an eye on proceedings. Shane T there, timing his arrival well. Can't say I remember him on way back. Not nearly as much running of uphills this week and was expecting a poor result to boot but maybe the running part is getting faster - but those hills are getting bigger - especially the little ones. Breathing not great today - can't figure it out. Happy to have gone - now time to raid the shops for a wetsuit for rockman who is at newy parkrun.

gym class (Body Sculpt) 55:00 [4]

One of Mel's toughest classes where she switched the activities quite regularly so time went quickly. Still interesting that she does a general Body Sculpt approach whereas Liv did a focussed one - so Sunday we knew we'd done something on Friday.
4 PM

massage 1:00:00 [3]

Much needed and kneaded.
