Tail walker at Callaghan. Amazed at 3 things: I didn't have 1 mossie at all!!!!; I saw some people in the first 15 runners actually walking up the hill out of Don Morris Rainforest Walk; I had more than 20 people thank me for volunteering.
Still feel a bit of a fraud but am taking return slowly. Really humid morning.

First time setter GD did a great job. Did some planning and inside the start triangle i was very wary as it seemed like a long way between points. But set off to my chosen #1 and then added in 4 more controls and felt very very happy with route choice today - clean, no dead spaces and no mistakes and I was early!!! Happy with this the last of the competitive season. Hung around talking and catching up with Thomas hearing of his exploits in Scandinavia and Estonia and other places in the frigid zone.
Sad as the season draws to a close. Also hung around to see the result of the showdown between mooseMorris and macey. Equal on points, both late and now I don't know what happens. Lovely evening too. My foot seems to be OK.
