warm up/down (Walking) 15:00 [2]

Couldn't get one of my usual machines so had to use a fancy one. Interspersed flat at Level 6 and no climb with Level 2 with some climb. Seemed to work Ok as could see fluctuations in HR appropriate to activity.
10 AM

Gym5 24:34 [4] 5.0 km (4:55 / km)
ahr:145 max:159 shoes: black+blue

Steady to begin with but found I could push more at the end. Didn't have anything to eat beforehand - no spew problems.

gym class (Body Pump) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: black+blue

Warm up weight starting to feel a bit light. Hmmm

Tuesday Apr 9 #

4 PM

gym class (Body Pump) 55:00 [3]
shoes: grey/white

Had a slight disruption to plans this morning so rocked on along to afternoon Pump class. I think it does me good to have different instructors and go at different times (though not for this morning's reason - how one small incision can emit so much blood).
So Release #109 is a dog and the Instructor, while appearing to be competent, didn't have a handle on the timing and so for 3 tracks we were only half way through the second arm/leg set when the music ran out. It is a jumpy release anyway. Glad the morning instructor doesn't like it either. Still I think one needs to do something challenging/not to one's taste each day to balance out all the good things I have in my life.
Nice old storm and rain during the class - car washed for another week.

Monday Apr 8 #

9 AM

gym class (Cross Trainer) 1:00:00 [4]
shoes: black+blue

Tough class today made tougher for some by celebrating Irena's 57th birthday. She got the burpees "present". I extended my long run to 3x the short distance - made it, just.

Note

Even more fun helping out at NSW MTBO Champs - lots of very inspirational, muddy, tired people. What a great crew. It was a tough day - but it is an NOL, Champs event as well as for some a selection trial.
