Lake Macquarie Rogaine - Admin assisting. Very cold and windy but had a great time there. I didn't camp - but that's OK. Came home to check on rockman who'd been to his school reunion pre-dinner drinks and chat.

Solid class - lots of choice for exercises within categories. Really liked the last section where we had alternating 1 min of strength and cardio - which we've done oodles of times but today just felt better - possibly because I'm getting back closer to my fitness level. Elected not to go for the runs but stayed inside and did 4 or 5 mins spot running instead. Trying to build that up to see if i can actually do 1 hour of spot running??? Very strange goal.

Not as clean as yesterday but a most enjoyable course set by ID. Still feel that with the 1:7500 and size of circle is the course is shouting at me. More difficult nav today and good challenge. Got to a couple of controls before someone else who #1 is a mapper #2 has far more experience than me #3 sadly can't run so hobbles along.
I mangled the circle of #3 - found a pair of thickets which i wanted the control to be in; found another pair of thickets that I didn't feel the control was in; finally found a third pair of thickets which had a control therein and good/bad that I thought they could be the correct pair originally but misused the watercourse head as a trigger/attackpoint. Lost maybe 3 mins on this control and maybe 45 sec on #6.
Beaut day out, great new map and challenging courses... and home by noon.
Note: Splits says I lost 30 sec on #6 and 2:30 on #3 - so my guestimates were fairly accurate - but I'd disagree definitely about #3.
