Lucked out at parkrun today. Had put name down for volunteering well before air quality problems announced. Main reason was that the numbers are dwindling there because of the change to the route necessitated by building works. Now a 3 loop course. Test drove route to see that chalk markings and cones were clearly defining the route - which it was and the assessment..... yeah nah. Not a fan at all. Doing the same hill 3 times instead of once is not nice. So I'll happily volunteer there so that others can run but won't see me there. I'll migrate to lakeview.

gym class (PF Challenge) 1:00:00 [4]

Still feeling unsettled in class. Glad it's not boring but don't seem to "know" what's happening.

Street Series (Cameron Park Hills #6) 47:54 [4] 5.1 km (9:24 / km)
shoes: black+blue

No avoiding hills today at all but tried to be smart. Not smart near the end with 2 (now) obviously poor route choices and ignoring the little buzz in my ear saying Go Home Go Home, but elected to try to pick up 3 (2+1) points on way home which I lost whereas if I'd just gone for the 1 I'd not have lost any! Really enjoyed the over the fence track running, which proved very economical too. Big boys very competitive today - great to watch. [24-3]

I didn't enjoy this at all. Arrived just on time but with sooo many people there I had the choice of the stage or the doorway; needless to say which one I chose. But all the session I seemed to be in catchup mode - not quite knowing what was coming next even though there is structure to the class.
