walking 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: grey/white

A walk in 2 parts. A new acquaintance wrote an orienteering based murder/mystery for me after meeting me at rockman's Wake. I decided today, being overcast and not too hot, was the day. Followed it via phone around Lambton and just solved the mystery (not who done it but where it was done) when my carpenter rang me to say he could deliver my two tables within an hour if I was home. No I wasn't but could be in 30 minutes. So first part of walk was consideredas I problem solved clues but return was a direct line bolt. Good fun to compensate missing out on gym this morning due to having to enrol in photography class at 9am.

walking 25:00 [1]
shoes: black+blue

Late afternoon walk to local shops to clear my head after a full day of talking to people. But in doing so I ticked off quite a few "must do's" and won't need to do so again until the New Year. Can't believe I just wrote that.

gym class (PF Challenge) 1:00:00 [4]
shoes: white puma

Good solid class but I'm thinking I'm starting to get used to this style.

Street Series (#7 Georgetown) 44:43 [4] 4.63 km (9:39 / km)
shoes: black+blue

At last a flattish street event set by Claire. Claire is a running par excellence so i was prepared for a long way between points. Didn't intend to go over the rail line, and there weren't many points there anyway. Had a 2 pointer in my sights if enough time - got half way up the rail bridge and pulled the pin - glad I did. I would have been way late and lost those 2 points and possibly another1 as well. Nice and clear controls - got a little confused at a couple of Y intersections. Came upon a minor car prang just afterwards - slow motion but very definite relocation of a No Stopping Sign!! 26 points but distance down a little. Darn Karen beat me, but I got Bernadette.

gym class (PFHIIT) 1:00:00 [4]
shoes: white puma

Very sleepy start to the day so made sure I got to class early to grab a reasonable spot - so as not to antagonise myself as I have done the past 2 Mondays. Seemed to work, but class brightened when Stu asked me about last night's escapades. He didn't get away from car race early enough to get to gig - but making plans for 28 Dec gig.
Cardio was tough but I seemed to be able to handle it better - thinking about going back to Zumba classes for a bit.

gym replacement activity (Dancing) 1:00:00 [3]

Invited to a gig - one of my gym "buddies" is lead singer and guitarist in a rock group. Missed their 40th anniversary Star Riot concert as rockman was in hospital so got a "personal" invitation for tonight. What I didn't know was that it was one of the after parties following the Newcastle car race - so there were a number of people with ID cards, "beautiful" people and others just there. Really enjoyed the night dancing and being surprised by what people like to dance to.... these days. I certainly raised the average age on the dance floor, but was sufficiently OK to be included in the girls' group. Fun night.

walking 18:00 [1]

Lucked out at parkrun today. Had put name down for volunteering well before air quality problems announced. Main reason was that the numbers are dwindling there because of the change to the route necessitated by building works. Now a 3 loop course. Test drove route to see that chalk markings and cones were clearly defining the route - which it was and the assessment..... yeah nah. Not a fan at all. Doing the same hill 3 times instead of once is not nice. So I'll happily volunteer there so that others can run but won't see me there. I'll migrate to lakeview.
