thought I should start preparing to re-enter the real world of exercise. Had an abitious plan of doing parkrun distance at parkrun time - but a late night indulgence of rubbish tv put paid to that early.
Elected to do newy - inverted. As it is an out and back course I couldn't start at the end so i started at the turnaround point, which was an interesting mental and physical exercise. Mental = when you think you are nearly there, you're only halfway and it was far more interesting to compare the km splits when not in same order. Plus there is the total lack of competitiveness. Path was almost as crowded as parkrun is after the first 3 minutes. Sooo many people and a few parkrunners out doing "it" too.

Obviously the little diesel engine got going with each sector an improvement. It again confirms my suspicions that the 2/3 marker is incorrectly placed.
And point for the day: saw Karen B out running - looked really good and focussed.
Nice also to see the SUP Regatta on Throsby taking place. Certainly they were more than 1.5m apart.

Circumnavigation of the golf course. Sun just a tad lower in the sky, noticeable even within a week. Started out as hard as I cold and built from there. Absolutely beautiful.

Pyramid "Sprint" Ints. Each lap = 15m (ie width of our block)
1-2-3-4-...-10 with 1 walk between each set. Felt better but disappointingly needed a 'double' walk lap before the last.
Avoided neighbours seeing me but some illegal golfers looked puzzled.

Again I got caught up with yard and garden with land clearing behind garage interspersed with some solid digging. Will be interesting to see what is sore tomorrow.

Note

Planned-for golf course circumnavigation didn't eventuate - did full front garden weeding instead. Seeing as so many people are walking now I thought I should spruce it up a bit. Longer walk tomorrow.

Not a comfortable walk at all - must remember not to drink coffee at lunch if I'm going to run or do fast walk. Still a beautiful walk around the golf course. Abridged to cut back across the course to home.... and safety.

1-2-3-4-...-10 with 1 walk between each set. Originally thought to get to 5, then 8 and settled on 10. Had to do it after sunset but before dark - neighbours, who think I'm crackers anyway, wouldn't see me.
