Daily Move (prog 21) 30:00 [3]

First go at this replacement for gym visit. Dipped in and out - doing 10 mins of yoga followed by 10 mins Pilates wasn't entirely what I wanted. Will review sessions and tailor to suit - but pleased to have it available.

Note
(rest day)

Feeling very flat today, both mentally and physically. Not wanting to push it following flu jab earlier in the week so designated Rest Day.

Got caught up with carpentry tasks until after sundown - may do weights later.

Went like the clappers - right from the start. Beautiful clear afternoon which I wasn't going to waste indoors on the bike, so even though I was later leaving than I should have (hence setting sun light rays in my eyes for the upward section) I was quite switched on. Didn't see any other walkers and only illegals in the last 2-3 minutes. Surprised by time. Will be lying low for next couple of days - flu jab today.

Silly me not thinking of Fernleigh Track as a possible exercise option before now. Did Adamstown - Dudley Rd section. Lots of people, cyclists interspersed with scooters and a couple of skate boarders. Brief conversation with Jan H from lakeview parkrun who was on her e-bike.
Scoped out further entry points as I make my way along - a very microscopic version of doing the GNW track.
Decided on my NYD activity - yep absolutely too much time on my hands demonstrated in planning for NYD already.
BIG bonus for the morning - while driving home I decided to scope further access points to Fernleigh I got caught in a cul-de-sac but at the end was a retaining wall the size of mine (to come). So I could see what it looks like in reality rather than a small sample. Owner returned home while I was blocking the street - I apologised and then we talked for the best part of 20 minutes and I got a big behind the scenes look and some great ideas and advice.
Home feeling quite buoyant, opened the letterbox and there was a letter in there for me from little A.
