Brain going a million miles an hour - can't seem to concentrate on job at hand and sleep is atrocious. Planning some "me" time today and possibly a "mini me" weekend.

massage 1:05:00 [3]

Ooooh that was good.

Street Series (#3 Arcadia Vale) 41:35 [3]
shoes: black+blue

This was an ususual event for 2 reasons. Cool with just a hint of drizzle - well I did miss the window of opportunity catching up on permanent course matters. Set out with a plan and seemed to be going reasonably well, with a mix of small pockets of bushland and urban. But cutting along a track at the end of a cul-de-sac alongside a w/c and behind some houses slow and unintimidating me was yelled at by a woman in a car at the end of the street. I thought she was asking "what (interesting thing) are you doing?" I couldn't quite hear her as her voice was quite shrill. I gave her a wave of my map and a smile. Finding I couldn't get across the heavy undergrowth I retreated and by this stage she'd driven towards me, not really blocking my way but certainly coming towards me. She detailed that I was on private property (I wasn't) and that her husband was in the kitchen "there" - maybe 15-20m away and up 1 storey - "cooking dinner". Now most of us would be pleased to say this and I would have congratulated her as this activity permitted her to hoon around the streets yelling at people. I decided I'd have to work out another way to get the 5 controls on the other side of that small blockage. Fortunately Melita was nearby and witnessed the whole incident and commiserated with me (and secretly I know she was happy it was me and not her). This totally stuffed my route plan and it was a loong way around to retrieve those points on the other side of the blockage. It also meant I just picked up where I could resulting in me being back waaay early, shaken but not stirred. Standing around at the end, several others had encountered the woman and the chef both of whom felt that their patch of Reserve was Their Personal Property.
The other disappointing outcome was that my maprunF result is on my phone and by consulting the Results by phone I'm THERE but strangely I'm not in Eventor Results.
My R calf held up fairly well - so it wasn't a case of insult adding to injury.

gym class (PF Challenge) 45:00 [4]

Tough class - but no sign of calf tightness or catching. Didn't, however, do the plyo lunges or the Box Jumps so substituted.
9 PM

stretching (Rolling) 10:00 [2]

First attempt - see how I feel tomorrow. My first use of big roller.
