Tina outdid herself today - a true Sculpt class that was focussed and challenging.

Accidentally upped weights for shoulders - a big surprise for me. I think it was yesterday's class that got me over the line.

gym class (PF Challenge) 50:00 [4]

After a very boring and dispiriting class on Monday Jaq pulls out a ripper.
Note: was #1 on sign up for next week's class. My goal is achieved!

Street Series (Jewells - SSS#3) 45:35 [3] 4.98 km (9:09 / km)
shoes: black+blue

Yep another hilly one but I think i did OK. On parking I noted many people running up the cul-de-sac and I thought I hope there's more than one way to leave the Start - there was and I went in the other direction. making myself do that was dangerous and I needed to focus on route choice but clearly the run in would be a big downhill. Was fortunate that the paths beside creeks were cleared and there weren't the unfriendly residents as in last week. Near the end i mad a mistake of staying on the path rather than being"fierce" (the word we are using with Astrid who abhores brave) and going through some green. this resulted in the 35 sec over time.
Some technical issues at the end, but this week my result appeared.

Another "set and forget" class - testing as it is and while it affords the opportunity for the instructor to correct technique and give individual encouragement I think it is a bit daunting to see the 35 min workout. AMRAP style, even for warm up. Admittedly it permits individual pace - so I'd better pull my horns in... no thinking about it now it allows you to slacken off by not having to keep up with section times or reps.
