Saturday Nov 28 #

(rest day)

Including the hot temps to come today is first day of recovery - so pottering around. Tomorrow will do a very low intensity session. Glad to be "back".
6 PM

Strength 5:00 [3]

Lifting and manoeuvring 20kg bags of pebbles into the newly created rock feature. Very happy with its evolution. Finished my own mini gabion with a combination of the original black pebbles rockman chose, the white which I introduced as an accent and the new green flat faced basalt which just happened to be lying around. A couple of feature plants inserted and I'm happy with the result. Still just pottering around but the lifting and balancing and pushing needed was pretty taxing even as heat was starting to subside near to 7pm.

Friday Nov 27 #

Much improved today - just as well - the major concrete pour at 1pm and electrician appt for lighting placement.

Thursday Nov 26 #

Worse and different but part of the usual cycle. You know you're sick when you fall asleep in between hitting the "on" button and the screen comes up.

Wednesday Nov 25 #

Admitting defeat.

Smorgasbord (Rowing) 5:00 [2]

Filling in time to avoid talking to anybody revealing my hoarseness. Haven't given all that many press conferences but also know what I've been doing.

gym class (Body Pump) 1:05:00 [3]

Upped weights for shoulder track and made it all the way through. My recent diet of pineapple, lettuce and diced tomato and strawberries seems to paid off this time. I think I'm coming out of the laryngitis - just mustn't talk to my brother-in-law on the phone for another week.

(sick) (rest day)

Developed a cough last night. Terrible night's sleep and feeling very lethargic. Decided early on to can today's class, reschedule dentist for tomorrow and just take it easy. Good thing I did - lots to keep me entertained in the excavator stakes. Spray cans of blue paint at work also.

Gym5 28:01 [4] 5.0 km (5:36 / km)
shoes: white puma

Felt like changing it up today so rather than do a (not) parkrun went to gym and did a treadie. Terribly sluggish to begin with but picked it up later. Thinking it will be beneficial to do these again in the big scheme of things. Came home to damp ground again - did a bit of minor excavation. Seems like I have a leaking water pipe again - these guys can't take a trick!
4 PM

walking 24:00 [3]
shoes: white puma

Pharmacy trip - was going to add to it but rumblings and dark overhead skies deterred me.
