Basically a preservation performance. I need to have as little tightness in shins and calf muscles tomorrow and as little soreness in feet. Nice to see maprgirl, leepback and bax as well as meg, Pip, Adrian and John. Drizzles and warm slight breeze so very pleasant.

Tough going with no chance of attention over past 2 weeks. Later decided to "do" the circular feature - so more rock moving and slate tiles placing. Happy with result.

Felt comfortable during Chest track. Feeling all sorts of little niggles which I am susceptible to when I've got plans for a rogaine coming up. Tomorrow I've got meetings so can't go to the gym and I'll REALLY only walk parkrun Saturday to save the joints for Sunday.

Got to the start of second 10 so fairly happy with that.
Still holding back so I can try doing something this afternoon with our "Presentation" cross over event.

Street Series (Pres - Islington Pk) 35:20 [3] 3.35 km (10:33 / km)

Drizzle and cool.Late lunch so the start was very sluggish, even more than usual. So used to this map it was a treat to have some different legs. Line course for first 15 controls then the balance of the 45 min was Score.I completed the Line in just over 15 mins which was roughly 1/3 time so why i thought I couldn't go over the bridge again is beyond me. Stuck to South side and got a measly extra 9 controls and back a good 10 min early. Sad to farewell Street Series which was highlighted by MaprunF introduction. No going back now baby!

Glad my ankle didn't continue to be annoying. Did some beach/sand walking yesterday and was expecting the knees to remind me, especially after last week's pounding, but the ankles were more "vocal".

Very enjoyable but also challenging. Why are rocks so heavy? and why do things that aren't balanced fall on top of me?
