Event (UFO#4 Richley Reserve) 36:50 [3] 2.9 km (12:42 / km)
Forget this urban stuff - this was pretty much full on bush. The nav was straight forward and yes there were track options but where permitted most people were going off track. Great to be able to access this gem of an area and Ian D did a god job of the map.
Had a less than ideal run - as it used a lot of the parkrun area I seemed to be going uphill where normally at parkrun it would be down - and that didn't mess with my mind so much as my motivation. Second issue was a wardrobe malfunction - it appears the waist of the O pants is larger than my waist. I'd hoped having gaiters on might help to stoop the droop, but it didn't.
Light was suboptimal - how anybody coped after 5:45 I don't know. The details mapped in the playground area plus circles and numbers resulted in a very jumbled representation. Think I'm still a bit tired and a little stressed.
Presentation for Street and Urban after. True rain held off until I got out of the car in the carport.
Sad to see the end of our Wednesday nights - Night Champs next week after AEDST departs. My consolation is that I can go to 2 Body Attack classes each week now - until they wake up and realise the Tuesday class isn't viable.
