Bonus for day: gym is rebranding and so is having a clean out of merch. Scored a new thicker yoga mat for $15 (down from $35) and 2 free T shirts. I hummed and haa-ed about this. I really do not need any more T shirts, BUT they are cotton which is a rarity.
9 AM

gym class (Booty and Core) 45:00 [2]
(injured) shoes: Brooks Glycerin

Modified class to minimise impact on R Achilles. I also suspect Tina modified the class "just for me" - which is naughty.
5 PM

Street Series (#2 Waratah West) 48:48 [3] 5.2 km (9:23 / km)
(injured) shoes: Black Asics

Only entered at the last minute as I wasn't sure that my Achilles would like what was in store. During the afternoon (after elevating it in the middle of the day) I checked and swelling was non-existent, but I'm still tentative going down stairs. So off I went. Waratah West is very hilly and with Malcolm R setting we'd have to earn our points. Picked a route which minimised climb and basically skirted the Gun Club enclosure. I think the controls I selected were good value but my execution of route left a bit to be desired.
Happy to get back at a reasonable pace, though late (which would have been greatly lessened with a better internal route choice). GPS watch took a while to pick up satellites so missed a bit of data. No soreness or swelling, so maybe I'm through this bout of strange ankle happenings.

(injured) (rest day)

Decision to not even try gym class and modifying moves when necessary. I can't trust myself. Weather is preventing me from doing work outside; floor sealing is stopping me from doing the big cull of the Study bookshelves in preparation for the Uni Book Fair where rockman's technical journals and reference books will undoubtedly go to a new home. Also decided not to go to Football 5 tonight. Obviously a day when I can catch up on lots of shows I've been meaning to binge watch, but I still feel guilty watching tv in the daytime. Think I'll go to the Hunter Wetlands instead and have lunch and look at the birds.

Still injured but less so. This is good as this was the 2nd weekend of furniture moving at Wanda this time the futon and side tables and other smaller stuff. And the grass has grown since last week's epic mowing session. I contemplated removing the washing machine but no space. Carrying the futon frame downstairs was tricky for a while until i worked out which foot needed to go first. Fortunate that our Eco Walk to Fingal Island Lighthouse was called off because of high sea swell. I would have been slow and not happy. I can walk now but still impaired. But we did enjoy our Lamb Pies from La Vie bakery.

Tweaked R Achilles again - similar circumstances as February. But this time I knew what had happened and reacted appropriately. The floor sander who saw me do it was a bit confused, and amazed that I knew what had happened. He told me he thought it was the stairs.

Note
(rest day)

Somewhat enforced as needing to be at home for 8am visit by arborist and 10am arrival of floor sander.
