Searched feverishly for Sports watch but couldn't find it so was using spare which may or may not be accurate.
Sat in car while change and cold winds blew through and rain subsided. As it did about 12 of us hopped out of our various vehicles to Start. Feeling just a bit unsettled - not right watch, not right socks, not right top - "everything" seemed off. Route was not spectacular either but I was determined not to be late today. Being unsure of timing opted to not collect a 90 pointer or a 30 pointer near finish, either of which would have done wonders for my pathetic score. As it turned out I could easily have collected the 90. Bit glum about that but scooted home. While I was driving the words of my next door neighbour on Sunday kept going through my head - "I thought I was going mad, but it turns out we were robbed while we were at home." (a bottle of wine and a torch disappeared).
Arrived home and "tore the place apart" - and came to the realisation that both my sports watch and rockman's dress watch (which I'd worn on Monday to lunch) were missing. Thinking back they'd been missing since Monday afternoon or at latest Tuesday afternoon. So sad to lose rockman's watch - I'd given it to him on our 10th anniversary.
The week just seems to be getting "better and better". At least my phone and cards weren't touched, nor the car keys.

Seems the niggling shoulder and jaw aches have disappeared after some discrete/discreet ibuprofan

Felt good. Deb suggested we all go up 1kg for biceps. Not having any 1kgs spare I went to the racks. "Thought" I could take off my outer 1kg and replace it with 2.5kg - so upping but by just a little. Put them on and music started and the arithmetic finally kicked in - I'd increased not by a cheeky total of 1kg but by a massive total 3kg. Got through it OK. Massive confidence boost, physically, intellectually not so.

Had to scale some of the exercises back a bit. Left shoulder which was uncomfortable yesterday was down right sore this morning. Could do push ups but couldn't take full weight for plank, burpees were a nightmare. Will monitor.

Very dispiriting experience. Unfortunately all on one field so we lesser lights rarely got to see any action. Lots of walking done up and down field. Nice night weatherwise. Disappointing after last week's split game. Bit of grumbling afterwards. I wasn't helped by a lunch catch up with a usually happy and bubbly friend but she was really unhappy and needed to unload. Took her nearly an hour before she drew breath and asked me 1 question about my situation/family, before returning to the negatives.

Was barely awake and had resigned myself of doing an "attendance" parkrun, but by the 3km mark was more with it so powered home.
A little surprised about the low key, on the day activities for lakeview's 400th. A bit leading up via fB, but on the ground very little fanfare, except for RD in formal attire and halfway DJ... Simply Irresistible blaring out. Attendance fairly low too.

Regular Step warm up then 8 x 1 min rounds of basically "get 25 reps done and you can nap until the next minute, otherwise no rest for you buddy!" Only 1 I failed at massively was burpees, otherwise pretty much finished at latest by 40 seconds. 2 rounds of this then abs and core and stretch.
NO ankle or knee discomfort or wariness. Just maybe "it" is over, but I'll still err on the side of caution, but the freedom of feeling safe was wonderful.

Note

Dentist visit of the expensive and unplanned for variety - broken filling which emerged over the weekend at Orange. I kept this from my travelling companion after all the dental drama of the time we travelled to Wyangla for SL events and I didn't want her to think of me as always being a whinger. Turns out she also cracked a filling the night before we left and her dental appointment was exactly 24 hours before mine. She didn't want to tell me either.
