After performing my First Timers role I joined the throng on a glorious morning. Didn't see Fred until on the way to the turn around - good to see him shuffling/running today and making it the whole way.
Picked a few target people and caught them at various times; downhills are now getting difficult to contain myself from running and it feels safer on my ankle to do so - hence the recent improvement.
Chatted afterwards with some of the First Timers I'd met. They seemed to enjoy the experience.

First event Emile's set that I've been at (think it is his first). What conundrums he set us. I know exactly when and where I spent 48 seconds dilly dallying and going the wrong way and being confused. Excellent last event for the Series. Earned my Full attendance Toblerone!

While driving to Sydney yesterday with junior junior to collect my NEW furniture I reflected that I'd be doing the same journey in less than a week's time. But then I realised a massive fail: Tour de LHI begins in a week and I have done exactly 1 practice session since NYD. There goes that resolution... and within the next 5 days I have to condition my bike muscles, or more importantly bottom/seat, muscles.
