Achillies injury on May 10 during long run. Switched to MTB to keep endurance going. First run since injury was May 27. Twinges of pain. Still planning to do PlanetAdventure 24 June 6.
Came in with sore throat after long bike on May 24. Caught my daughters cold. Monday is normal off day, took Tuesday also (just mowed the lawn). No other training impact.
Next week is final prep for race. Will do long ride Sunday, off Monday, spin Tuesday, do another 2 mile easy easy run (still worried about achillies) on June 3 and that is it till race.
