Orrienteering race ("The Range") 45:56 [3] *** 5.83 km (7:53 / km)
8c shoes: Mizuno Wave Inspire 5

Club event at the range. Was happy with my result, was fifth overall, beaten only by a few insane guns. Navigation was perfect and i kept up a good running pace the whole time, the only thing that slowed me down was the mud and the puddles. I kept trying to get around them instead of just running straight through them cause i didnt wast to wreck the new shoes.

Orrienteering (Training exercise) 48:28 [3] *** 5.2 km (9:19 / km)
spiked:12/17c shoes: Mizuno Wave Inspire 5

Ran the course at Geoff Todkill's training day. It was set up so that there was double controls, one at the attack point and one on the actual feature. Then after a while we had to choose our own attack points. Felt that my navigation and route choice was fine until the end. I stuffed up two of the last few controls because they were both in dry ditches and for some reason I always read the map wrong when it comes to dry ditches. Have to work on that.

Orrienteering (No Compass) 17:27 [3] ** 2.1 km (8:19 / km)
6c shoes: Mizuno Wave Inspire 5

This was the second course. It was about 1.6k but without a compass. Found it to be pretty easy once i got going cause i don't really use my compass that much anyway. They were both good courses, thankyou to the organisers.

Running (Running) 51:18 [3] 8.6 km (5:58 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Inspire 5

Decided to run on my usual rest day to make up for the previous few days slackness. Problam was that the second i got running, the rain started up pretty heavy. it stopped about 2km later but started pelting down at about the halfway mark. it didn't let up until i got home, conveniently enough. After that i went to an appointment with a knee specialist reccomended by joshy b. it was pretty good, he just poped things back into the right spot, and told me to do streches, and my knee should be fine.

Running (Running home) 29:27 [3] 5.18 km (5:41 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Inspire 5

We went into maitland after school and i ran home. i was hoping that the run was gonna be a bit longer but whatever. still an ok run. was keeping up a pretty good pace but i slowed down at about the halfway mark cause there was heaps of smoke in the air, and i really struggle to run in smoke, but got back on track after that.
