score event at hedley road.
picked a fairly good route in my opinion. The main thing that slowed me down was how tight my calfs were for the first half hour going up the hills, it was really annoying as i felt strong and fit enough to run but my calfs were hurting to much to run. decided to miss one out in the side forest which I might of had time to get but was probs a good decision. made one mistake on the third to last cause i just didn't keep in contact with the map and had to relocate, missed out two more down the bottom, but made it back in plenty of time. felt good physically and was happy with my fitness, apart from my tight calfs, must stretch and warm up more.

usual loop + 6 x cheltenham/north head stairs and 6 x mt vic stairs. Felt really good for the majority of it except straight after the first set of stairs, where my legs felt a bit dead, but i ran that off after a couple of mins. seemed to keep a good pace most of the time. and felt powerful on the stairs.

ride on the charge, on north head and mt vic. a bit muddy and definately slipperry. did some nice big drifts, and real good skills sort of stuff in the wet conditions. once i got a bit muddy i got into it and ended up having a very nice ride. also felt quite strong as i had no worries going up mt vic on the charge with its slow tires on. so all was good

busy with uni till 8 tonight, so showed a bit of commitment and woke up at 6, out the door by 6.20. round the tip then up lake road to belmont, seaview, fort taka, cheltenham, north head, mt vic. Once i got over the initial shock of doing something so early in the morning i had a very nice run and felt good.

spin class at the gym, figured since the weather was crappy i would do this, reasonably good intense exercise, felt good.

Strength and conditioning (gym) 40:00 [3]

Running 38:32 [3]

afternoon run with finn, usual loop, with no extras. felt really good, legs felt quite light and i was able to keep a good pace the whole time, enjoyed it.
