First of the roagaine series, on a new map, was quite good fun with some native bush and a bit of mud. completely off on my 2nd control wasted atleast 15 mins, so was a little demorilised after that, but just treated the rest as a nice little bit of training and running, and pretty much just stuck to my original route. All the rest went well, apart from a min or so lost from reading the wrong leg on my map. Quite happy with my route though, if it wasn't for the mistake, and I pushed a wee bit harder I rekon i could of easily been up there.

shoes: Addidas Adizero Adios

summer series at ellerslie, missed one driveway/ track turnoff so wasted 30 sec there, then wasted a min or more on 9, after not seeing the control. Was running a wee bit slow, saw lower back to start out with, then after that went away, got quite tight calfs especially the right.
