Biking 40:00 [3]

stationary bike at home. Couldn't muster the enthusiasm for a run, so just did this instead. A few standing efforts and sprints of 1 mins and 30 secs, then some one legged peddaling, and a cool down. felt all good

Strength and conditioning (gym) 50:00 [3]

10 AM

Orienteering race 1:06:46 [4] 10.2 km (6:33 / km)
shoes: x talon 212

0y 6 at woodhill. Not a great start when i forgot to get control descriptions, anyhow. slightly off on 1, very slow to see 5, lost 30 sec. Way to high on 15 but kind of realised my mistake, but took me a while to figure out where exactly i was, lost close to 1 min. went quite good for the next few. Slow once i got to the detail on 21, took me a while to match things up. Got a bit lost on 23, losing well over a min, struggled to make sense of the area. pretty shocking direction back to 25, silly on 27, went to the wrong spot, losing 30 sec. took the wrong track on 28, which shouldn't off been an issue but took me forever to relocate, and was just not thinking straight, lost well over a min. Again on 29 was very distracted and milled around for a bit, before reading my map properly, losing lots more time. So yeah pretty shocking at for the tighter controls at the end, lost 4 mins or so in the last k or two of the course, I think just stuffing up one kind of made me lose focus. Would of been happy with my run if it wasn't for the end, o well, showed some potential.

Running 39:00 [3]

quick run before touch, standard loop. Legs felt a bit heavy, and were quite tight so i had to stop and stretch a couple of times, felt better towards thew end.
4 PM

touch rugby 45:00 [3]

good game of touch, had 5 a side so was a bit more interesting.

Strength and conditioning 36:00 [4]
shoes: Ascics Gels old

circuit training at finns. Was 5 of us there today, so quite good being able to push each other. same as saturday, but felt a bit better today, much better on the chin ups
10 AM

Biking 2:27:00 [3]

big ride on the xc bike. up the green route, then up east coast rd, rosedale, then up to the royal trails, about 40 mins or so on the singletrack, which was riding pretty good, only a little bit of mud, and quite technical in places. Had a couple of half crashes, including smashing my arm/shoulder into a tree. Back home via east coast and lake rd. Felt pretty good the whole, it took a little longer than i thought it would to get out there, but that wasn't an issue.
2 PM

touch rugby 40:00 [3]

after getting home from the bike ride, having a shower then checking my phone, found out touch was on. Only 3 a side, but that meant it was very involving which was good. legs felt suprisingly ok
