oy7 at pulipit rock
Alittle cautious on 1 and 2, slightly slow on 9, 10 and 11. Then made a silly mistake going to 12 where I went through the green stripe, instead of just following a nice track. Also found the block that 12 and 13 were in really strange, and some of the mapping didn't really make sense to me, so I definately lost some time on those two stoping to early and wondering why some really defined features weren't on the map. Pretty slow up the hill to 14 and stopped to read the map properly a couple of times, should of trusted myself a bit more there as it was where i expected it to be. went out to the track on 15 just to be safe, which I think was good, but was slow to spot the control, so lost a bit of time. went to the wrong hill on 21, partly cause the tracks was marked slightly wrong, not that i should of been trusting it too much. nasty last leg then into the finish. Overall I'm pretty happy with my run, fairly solid, with no big mistakes, still I can easily see how you could take a few minutes off

ride from orienteering at pulpit rock. went an rode a little track next to the quarry, which was alright, just a bit too much crap on the ground, then up the road to 51, trig track down, then up mainline and back down the middle track, to the tennis courts. tracks were real nice, lots of flow.

ride on the xc bike, up the green route to hauraki, taka beach, north head x 2, mt vic x 2, naval sports fields and home. Wasn't a very exciting ride, but still good to get out there, felt ok.

circuits at finns. shit that was hard work, felt good for the first 3, then crap for the last 3. On the upside finn looked alot worse for wear than me.

usual tuesday half marathon loop. bit of a tight achiliess at the start, then ran into some tidal issues on milford beach, so had to go a bit further round the streets. felt pretty average as well so just walked for a couple of k, but then perked up and finished at a pretty good pace.

stationary bike at home, was meant to do this in the morning but didn't have the motivation, was quite happy to do it this evening though. some sprints and standing efforts. felt pretty good
