Nice little ride out at craters of the moon this morning, before coming home. Rode all the tracks in the lower block, that we missed out on riding yesterday, a few really fun and quite technical tracks, gutted I missed out on racing them as thay suited me quite well. Made for a good easy length ride though.

good game of touch this afternoon, plenty of us playing. took it relatively easy for the most part
Huka challenge for the first 35km or so, until the race got cancelled :(. Felt really good right from the start, and got into a pretty good rythm. Race got called off cause of the high winds blowing over trees which is probaly fair enough but still kind of sucked. Especially considering how good and fresh my legs felt. So yeah very dissapointed. Anyhow... we got to ride the last 30 km as well, but not as a race.

last 30km or so of the huka at a reasonable pace but not pushing that hard. Still felt ok at the end, legs a bit tired, but theres no doubt that racing the whole thing would have been hard.
circuits at finns, getting a very good turn out now. felt pretty good and got a new pb for chins in 30 sec. missed 3 exercises on 1 set though taking a phone call, but got a job out of it so that was good.

flattish run, to finns, round golf course, tip, naval sports fields, then along waterfront to cheltenham for a swim. Felt pretty good all round, although we never really pushed it
stationary bike this morning, didn't really feel like dealing with the wind, so just chucked a bike dvd on and did a big spin session at home. felt good, but am taking it relatively easy this week before Huka, Don't really have enough time left to fit in a big ride. Huka will definatlely be a bit of a struggle, predicting I'll be good for 3 - 3.5 hours and then suck for the rest, nevermind will be a good experience

little trip peaks run from Alexs to Joshs for a swim. pretty slow pace for the most part, as Alex wasn't a huge fan of the hills
