a series on beautiful hills. bad route to 1, too low on 2, slow to 3, bad route to 5, stuffed up exit out of 6 a bit, stuffed up direction going to 7, losing a min or so, nit hesitant near control on 14, 2nd map was a bit easier having run through the area before, did a bad route to 20 though, rest was fine, just going a little slow and cautious in places. fairly happy with my orienteering today, considering my lack of technical practice. could definitely use a bit more work on route choices and planning ahead though. physically I felt alright, not that I ever went that fast, or pushed too hard.

little friday arvo rood loop. pretty much same as last week. legs felt a bit tired, specially into the wind, but actually got better towards the end of the ride. nice out there though

pretty cruisy run with raeana, both pretty tired so kept it flat and easy. bloody nice evening for it, still quite hot

bit of core, tiny bit of upper, then a bit more legs than I usually do. just used pretty light weights, but added some squats and deadlifts to my routine. then a good stretch after spin as well

spin class at the gym, was pretty good really, plenty of sprints, and sweat

about 5k run at a high intensity/ fast pace, felt pretty good, and thought I might of been a bit faster, but I suppose there were a couple of hills, and it was windy.

easy jog to and from bayswater where I did my 5k. legs felt a little tired doing this (but not the 5k haha)

xc ride out at woodpoo with alex and richard in the craziest conditions I've ever seen out there. ridiculous amount of puddles and surface water, and raining pretty heavily the whole time. was awesome fun though, and somewhat scary not knowing how deep all the puddles were. got dark with 30 mins or so to go, and I had no light so had to closely follow richard and his light. was impossible to see anything but the main route, couldn't see any roots or holes so had a few loose moments. good ride all up though.

standard trip peaks devo loop, at a fairly casual pace, felt alright, but calfs were slightly tired and it was very humid. enjoyable run though

down to naval sports fields for drills and intervals, then calliope, up and around vic, domain, round north head, cheltenham, through the golf course and round the tip to finish. Bit more than i was planning considering the weather, but ended up quite enjoying it. Dressed well for the conditions with a rash top on under my prollyprop. pace started off fast then was a bit slow toward the end, kind of just day dreaming as opposed to foccussing on the run

5 x 1.40 ish intervals around the sports fields. felt pretty good, and pushed hard.
