final map, little bit of mass start action. made a mess of the maze, then followed dunc and gene the wrong way out of it, which was pretty funny. so a bit slow on this one, legs were a little tired too.
upper body had enough after a few exercises, so did a big core circuit and plenty of stretching.

Real nice morning run, best I've felt running in ages, started off pretty cruisey then got faster as I went, and ended up pushing quite hard for the last few k. What a way to start the day!
biking around the forest, mainly on the gravel roads, between running off to check control sites. felt ok on the bike, but bike was running a bit av, need to do some work on my gears

Was really good for the first 18 mins, then right achllies tightned up when I got to a hill. so had a good stretch and walked the rest of the hills from then on, except for up from taka beach where I felt compelled to pass another runner haha. Then dropped down to the coast, but felt a bit av so walked back from nazza. So did about 30 odd mins walking as well.
Back from Crosbies hut, via a slightly longer route. was really cool in a few places with some big rocky slabs, and steep bits. Took about 4 hours all up, but a bit of stopping and that. Feeling allgood physically
