Orienteering race (3hr roagaine) 2:10:00 [4]
shoes: x talon 212

Think my route was pretty good, but made quite a few mistakes, which slowed me down a bit, and walked up a few hills. slightly high on 151, lost maybe a min. too high again on 156, got a little confused, lost probs 2 mins. slightly off on 158, 159 and 148, but not much time lost. stuffed up 147, as thought it was in the bush and would be a bit closer to the bank, turns out it was in the open and ridiculously easy, lost probs 2 mins there. slightly too high on 154. rest was fine, apart from going a bit slow in places, and doing up shoelaces 3 times. Took 87 mins for the first map, but can easily see that I could of done a sub 80. Still felt pretty fresh after this, and did the second maps 6 controls at a bit of a faster pace, bout 41 mins or so, with no real orienteering troubles. So finished under 2.10 I think, which was a bit shorter than I was expecting today, but was still a good bit of fitness. felt sweet at the end too.

control pick up. ended up picking up quite allot of controls, all seemed very easy having been there before, quite a bit of tracking too. ran most of the way, apart from the big hill. little bit tired by the end

Nice easy pace run with rae. Legs felt pretty good and free today so quite happy with that. went up to stanley point then back over to narrowneck and home, pretty chilled pace, which is what I was in the mood for.

reasonable length run this evening. up the green route, barries point rd track, through taka to the beach then coastal to the end of cheltenham, waterfront, mt vic then home. took a crappy headtorch for the coastal, although next time I will take a better one as couldn't see allot and got wet feet because of it!, Makes it quite interesting in the dark though. Felt pretty good, but never went that fast.
