shoes: five tens

finally made it out of the house, after doing assignments all day. Rode the dh bike! , probably for the first time in about 6 months. Just played around on north head and mt vic. Bike felt pretty good apart from rebound on the fork. Riding really well too,only had one crash.spin out. Got some good exercise trying to pedal up the hills as well. Had a lot of fun, and still feel quite quick on the dh bike. Kind of keen to do some shuttles now....

Note

went to see the physio today. She thought most of my calf issues were being caused by in-balances around my knees and hips, putting extra stress on the calf. Soooo got a few exercises to do and going to go back a couple of times in the next couple of weeks to work on it. Gonna stick to biking for the next little while too. Overall probably quite good news as she didn't think it was anything to serious, just need to change a few things.

quick ride on the xc bike. First time I've ridden it in ages. gears could use some tuning, but other than that was running alright once i swapped a brake over, and fiddled with the fork. Usual little devo loop with a couple of loops of the hills. Felt alright physically. Rode suprisingley well technically, feels like i haven't lost much of my downhill speed at all. tires felt a bit unpredictable though. Theres a new line on mt vic since I rode there last too!

physio exercises, working on keeping my hips level and strengthening calfs. then stretching hammy and calfs.

spin bike at the gym. did a few sprints and standing efforts. Feeling pretty good. Going to do more biking the next couple of weeks. Seeing physio tomorrow so will see what the verdict is on the old calfs
