Post op recovery - slow and steady. Managing abdo wall pain with hot and cold packs.

Distraction walk- on an empty stomach (fasting for surgery today- repair of repaired umbilical hernia). Noted several new trails from outdoor class activities worthy of mapping.

Note

Umbilical hernioplasty (robotic). Pretty good post op so far. Pain manageable, discharged home. Nothing but walking and stairs for 1 month. No lifting.

Note: felt pretty tired and stiff going in but came out energized- so a good outcome for a workout.

Finally made it back to Wirth to check out the new trails and Trail Head building (very nice!)- and enjoyably challenging single track. N loop, area 36 and Karate Monkey (main and cut off); approx 20, 15, 8, 3min with bike trails to and fro (15).
