Um. This was...humbling. I love those runs when you never warm up. It felt like the trail was trying to knock me over. I just felt clumsy, heavy, and SLOW. So....what makes everything better??? Shopping! That's right! I bought some better liners for my shoes ($10) to take some of the impact away. It felt like the manufacturer's liners were done for...and they were upon not so careful inspection.
