JK Day 3. Bigland. M45L.

Much better than Day 2 technically, but I was tired, and was really struggling physically by about #16. Pleased to have made fewer mistakes today, but I was still well off the pace, almost 20 minutes down on the winner.

JK Day 2. Duddon Valley. M45L.

Missed #1 badly (3 minutes?), then #2 by a minute (just by not being on the right side of the earthbank), then #10 by 5 minutes (looking in the wrong part of a rocky steep hillside), and after that I kind of gave up (but still lost another minute at #16).

Worst run for a long time, because my head is far too full of other stuff.

Orienteering race 16:31 intensity: (2 @0) + (16 @1) + (1:10 @2) + (3:40 @3) + (11:23 @4) 3.46 km (4:46 / km) +29m 4:35 / km

JK Day 1. Lancaster University, Sprint, M45.

I started well, and was leading after early on and up until control #8. Lost 10 secs at #13 (taking too long to decide on a route, and then probably not picking the best one), another 10 secs at #14 (same problem), then 15 secs at #15 (again, too slow deciding and running the route, and a slight mistake. Wrong route to #16 cost me 10 secs and by now I was down to 9th place. Slowed a little towards the end and finished joint 10th, 43 seconds down.
