YHOA Middle Distance Champs (and Alistair Tinto Memorial), Storthes Hall. Brown, 5.2km. M50 1st.

Great little area for a middle race, though quite wet today, meaning the marshes were boggy and some of the steep paths quite tricky for a late start.

Very happy with my run technically, and I kept a reasonable pace despite still having a cough, so just good enough to win the course and the class.

As well as the mug for the M50 win I also got the special "Tinto Mug" presented by his wife Zoe, since Alistair would have been running M50, had he not passed away last August. Apparently he always wanted to go up Tinto Hill, so Zoe suggested I'd go up there sometime for him.
