Rode out with Dad down to River Jetties and back from the house. Headwind as headed south. Busy kinda down around the beach, not jealous of this route as a daily one but fun to ride again with my dad.

First ride on the Bailey. Long Beach loop with Dad around LB state-down PCH home. Legs felt good, bike felt great. A few stops getting the saddle right but pretty close. Need to ditch the single bolt post though before cross racing.

Felt nice to not have any knee or arm warmers too. Nice weather.

Rode with Sarah and took her on her first little stint on the Burke Gilman. We rode down to Matthews Beach and back. Pretty mellow pace, probably her first ride of 2012 :)

Light rain falling, out the door at 730. Legs felt pretty good, rode down past UW then looped it into Discovery Park.

Wanted to drop down to the lighthouse but the climb back up (super steep) woulda been hard. Realized today when roads are wet in the park (no vehicle traffic on the pavement) the dirt and moss make it slippery when out of the saddle and climbing the rear wheel slips alot. Steep stuff is tough! That or I have Thor power...which is doubtful.
