Cycling (Mountain) 1:05:11 [3] 6.7 mi (6.2 mph) +656ft

First ride on the new rig and setup, and first ride in the dirt since we moved up to Seattle (5+yrs ago). Pretty unreal.

Didn't get off work until 615 and on the bike until around 7. Rode until around 815 doing loops of the short trail sections at Duthie Hill MTB Park. Half freeride and half cross country trails with skills areas and stuff.

Mostly just getting used to the bike. Trails are well done and fun, wouldnt want to ride here all the time as it could get boring because its small and repetitive but for once in a while it was fun. Checking out tiger mtn and tolt as options for next rides.

After work ride. Was pretty motivated to get this done then got out on the bike and wasnt feeling it. Neck back and shoulders tight and just felt off. But good to get out otherwise, warmer, out on BGT to shorter turnaround then Magnolia Park loop which is a solid option during rush hour to stay off BGT with commuters and peds and shit. Legs just OK.

Rode out early to get a ride in prior to playing Chambers Bay around noon. Nice and cool out, not many people on the BGT. Standard out and back to Matthews Beach.
